PubMed citation hierarchy scoring
Cross-references claims against PubMed, ranking citations by Levels 1–5 evidence hierarchy (systematic reviews and meta-analyses sit highest).
FDA-published drug labeling lookup
Retrieves the most recent FDA-published label for named drugs and surfaces brand, generic, indications, and warnings text alongside the claim.
ClinicalTrials.gov registration matching
Pulls registered studies matching the input so editors can compare claims against the public trial record.
NPPES NPI Registry public-data check
Surfaces NPI Registry records for clinician names detected in the input. Public-data presence check, not primary-source credential verification.
Off-label use signal
Heuristic comparison between the claim and FDA labeled indications. A signal for editorial review, not a medical determination.
Research integrity report
Generates a downloadable structured report bundling citations, labeling, trials, lookup results, and the verbatim medical disclaimer plus scope statement.
Optional PHI-free read-time guard
Opt-in HEALTHCARE_PHI_FREE_MODE strips HIPAA-identifier patterns from input before enrichment and tags the response with the guard status.
